Q: What is TSICET?

Ans: TS ICET is an abbreviation of Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET). This is an entrance test to get admission into MBA & MCA courses of all the Universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges.

Q: When will TS ICET Notification release?

Ans: Every TS ICET notification will announce in the last week of February. Similarly this year also notification will be out in the feb last week by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).

Q: Who will conduct TS ICET Entrance Test?

Ans: This test is being conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. Kakatiya University has successfully conducted ICET in 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2014 and TSICET-2015, 2016 & 2017. This year also ICET is being conducted by KU.

Q: What are the courses that are offered through TS ICET?

Ans: Through this entrance test candidates can admission into  MBA (Master in Business Applications) & MCA (Master in Computer Applications) courses.

Q: What is the Duration of the Courses?

Ans: Duration of MBA course is 2 Years and MCA course duration is 3 Years.

Q: Who are eligible to attend TS ICET Entrance Exam?


  • For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration.
  • For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Q: What is the Application Fee of TS ICET?

Ans: Application for registering TS ICET is ₹ 650/- for General category and ₹ 450/- for SC/ST category candidates. Details are available at Application Page.

Q: Where and How to Pay TS ICET registration fee?

Ans: Application / Registration fee can be paid through TS Online / AP online / Mee Seva / e-Seva centres or through Payment gateway (Credit card / Debit card/ Net banking). Check complete process of application fee payment and online form filling process from here.

Q: What is the Last Date of TS ICET applications?

Ans: Interested candidates can apply online for TS ICET entrance exam from 06th March – 30th April, 2018 without late fee. If any candidates fails to apply in the given date he/she can apply with late fee upto ₹ 10,000/-. For detailed date of application with and without late fee check this link.

Q: What are the certificates and Information required to Apply for TS ICET?

Ans: Before filling the Online Application Form, candidates should keep the following mandatory details ready to fill in the appropriate fields:

  • Degree or its equivalent Hall Ticket Number.
  • Hall Ticket number of the Qualifying Examination
  • Name of the Candidate
  • Candidate’s Father Name
  • Date of Birth of the Candidate
  • Hall Ticket number of  S.S.C(10th Class)
  • Mobile number
  • Local Status (OU/AU/SVU/ Non-local)
  • Income of Parents Certificate
  • Category (SC, ST, BC etc.) Certificate
  • Special Category (NCC, PH, Sports, CAP, etc.)

Q: What is the Exam Syllabus of TS ICET Question Paper?

Q: What are the qualifying Marks of TS ICET Entrance?

Ans: TS ICET Qualifying Marks are 50 out of 200 & Score or Rank Validity is for academic year 2018-2019 only. Ranking is calculated based on merit in examination. The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 50 marks out of total 200 marks). However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed. Click here for other details on Ranking & Qualifying Marks.
